The military affairs committee supporting RRAD is comprised of business and community leaders who are willing to commit their resources and time to support the depot and protect the local economy. There is also a non-profit entity, the Red River – Lone Star Defense Committee, that was established during BRAC 2005. The Red River – Lone Star Defense Committee manages the funds received and expended to support military affairs activities promoting and defending Red River Army Depot. Additionally, the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce has a committee focused on fighting BRAC and defense downsizing initiatives that adversely affect Red River Army Depot. All three work together with the common goal of protecting Red River Army Depot.
